Many of our patients are from the New Orleans, Louisiana, and greater Gulf Coast regions, but many travel from across the U.S. and even across the globe to seek care from the team at New Orleans Craniofacial.
Recovery times vary from procedure to procedure and case by case, as do the number and frequency of required follow-up appointments and recommended return visits. A one- to two-week stay in the New Orleans area during the procedure and post-operative care period is not unusual, particularly in the cases of craniofacial reconstructive surgery, or complex procedures to address deformities.
Talk with our team to learn more about the projected timeline for your care, and find resources below about travel to and accommodations in New Orleans, as well as a few of our favorite guides to the many activities and dining offerings that visiting families and guests of patients might enjoy during a visit to this destination city.
After patients return home, we collaborate with vetted local care providers for dedicated, comprehensive team care and the most optimal and expedient recovery possible.
